PEACE CLUB (29.8.18)

Students of Peace Club shall be organising an Inter Club Elocution Competition on 7th Sept. 2018.

Students during the club period, drafted  Notices, created an Invitation Card and created a Result Sheet with detailed Rubric for the above stated Competition. Teacher gave them suggestions for further improvement and appreciated the efforts made by them.  All in all it was a fruitful day.

SCRIPT WRITING AND ROLE PLAY

This time we awared the students of our school on the election process in India and after that they prepared the poems and skit on importance of election campaign. The literacy club on 29.08.18 awared the children for the same motto. The students participated enthusiastically and with full zeal. This encouraged the spirit of national brotherhood and sportsmanship in them. The understood the value of importance of elections and then what a main role it plays in a democracy like India. The students also enacted plays and poetry in various classes.The students through their skit tried to make the other students understand the country's constitutional   legislature and legal provisions technological innovations and role of election commission courts, media and other stake holders in the polling process. The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm and prepared excellent scripts which could really encourage the children to know more about the election process in India.

Carrel Club Activity

On 29.8.18, during the club activity, students of Carrel Club were given the activity "Folk Tales Galore." In this activity they related Indian festivals with religious stories. They came to know the values behind these Festivals and Importance of these celebrations.

Today in maths Matrix club students learnt how to solve 4 by 4 magic square they solved many 4 by 4 magic squares very enthusiastically.

Media and Photography Club Report : 8 News Values (29.08.18)

On 29th August, same activity like last club meeting was conducted with different set of learners of the media club where students were given an activity to explore the 8 new values by watching a video of social media and journalism. The explored values were conflict,emotion, suspense etc. The students discussed amongst themselves about the same and expressed their learnings on A-4 size sheet. This activity was very interesting and creative.

Homesaaz

Homesaaz Activity on 29.8.18

The students of Homesaaz designed candles and diyas using glitters, mirrors and lace. They also prepared Bandarwars using colourful paper and colours. The material can be used for decorating the houses during festivals.

Experience sharing activity

The pleasure of all reading and learning is doubled when we share it.

Two students participated in a quiz competition at Saint Xaviers School. They shared their experience with the club students. This gave them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge. Students learnt more about Indian states and their Capitals.

A video related to the topic was shown to the students and the discussion on the dates was being done. students wrote  month wise dates which whole world celebrate( related to environment).The video related to the activity  enhanced the knowledge and discussion on it was a step to  deep in this knowledge.

Candle Decoration-

Students decorated various candles and diyas with beautiful laces, mirrors and other decorative material. They enjoyed doing the activity.

Matrix club 20.8.18

Today the students in the matrix club understood how to make a 3 by 3 magic square .The students also tried to make 3 by 3 magic square using  numbers which are multiples of 2,3 and so on. Students felt happy after preparing their own magic squares.

On 20th August students of media club explored 8 news values of Journalism  and social media through a video.

These values are PROXIMITY, SUSPENSE, CONFLICT, ODDITY etc .

Students discussed about the same and presented their learnings on A-4 sized sheet. It was a wonderful journey of the kids filled with learning and creativity.

GO FIGURE activity was conducted.Students had made go figure puzzle last time which was exchanged amongst the students and done by them.

the dangers of these diseases and how we can prevent them through video and ppt presentation.

Peace Club.

During club activity students paid tribute to All Freedom Fighters for their sacrifice, they made puppets of some Freedom Fighters : Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chander Bose, Dr. Bhim Rao  Ambedkar, Rani Lakshmi Bhai, Bhagat Singh, Sarojni Naidu etc. students narrated their contribution not only in achieving success but also in leading nation to great heights through their insight,various strategies and future plans to develop nation, strengthen it make it self-reliant and competent enough to lead self and set a bench mark for other nations as well. Students were sensitised they discussed and  decided there role as patriotic nationals for the safety, integrity and progress of their nation. Overall activity was inspiring and all enjoyed it.
