ELECTORAL LITERACY
It is an acknowledged and documented fact that voters who are properly educated on the value and processes of the electoral system are the key to ensuring the best electoral practices. Students of literacy club this time prepared a skit and performed it in various clubs. The topic of the skit prepared was electoral literacy. It was done to make students understand the value of the words and need to exercise their suffrage in a confident, comfortable and ethical manner.
The students through their skit tried to make the other students understand the country's constitutional legislature and legal provisions technological innovations and role of election commission courts, media and other stake holders in the polling process. The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm and prepared excellent scripts which could really encourage the children to know more about the election process in India.
